Harper and Obama To Discuss The New North American Security Perimeter On Friday

In December the story about the North American Security Perimeter made the headlines. While government officials denied this at first, they eventually confirmed it. Now on Friday February the 4th 2011, Stephen Harper will be in Washington D.C. To discuss this "deal" with Obama.

The government is being very tight lipped when it comes to the details of this plan. Which has been called a "deal designed to ensure the vital trade flow between Canada and its largest trading partner is not choked off by the aggressive U.S. security bureaucracy".

"The New Border Vision is being billed as a 21st century border management system that will include new common consumer product regulations, a pre-clearance agreement for goods crossing the border to expedite waiting times and the use of advanced technology to utilize biometric data for travelers at airports and land crossings, according to people familiar with the plan".

What can be expected if this deal becomes official?

Well we can already see it taking shape. The department of homeland security would effectively take control of the Canadian Border. As we have written about here, The American military will be patrolling the Canadian - American border with unmanned predator drone planes. The use of advanced technology to utilize biometric data, is already in use by the department of homeland security. Watch the video on their website here. They would only be expanding this program into Canada.

Add in Bill C-42, An Act to amend the Aeronautics Act that would require Canadian airline carriers that fly over the U.S. to provide the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with passenger information. This includes name, date of birth, gender, as well as passport and itinerary details when applicable. And what else is there left for us to cede to the Americans? Only making it "official" by telling the Canadian people?

Heck the Toronto Star even posted an article in June of 2010, that openly states:
"Want a faster frontier experience? Cede Canadian land to U.S. customs agents who’ll in turn make the trucks run on time". source

You would think that Canadians would be mad as all hell over this right? Nope not most of them. Most are totally in the dark about it, and most of those who are aware. Are leaving comments like these.

"With what is going on in the world today the Americans have every right to tighten up their borders. Unfortunately, like the idiot at the Calgary airport that made an issue of an 80 year old ladies breast prothesis the petty bureaucrats who will carry out the rules can't stop abusing their authority which will further widen the relationship between our two countries. Another win for the terrorists."

"85% of our exports go to the US, the less restriction the better."

We as a country do not need to hand over our land, resources, or sovereignty to any foreign nation! Especially not one as corrupt and Illegal as the American government, and their goons at the TSA. I urge all Canadians to stand up! Talk to your friends and neighbors, hold street actions, write your elected officials, anything. Do not just sit back, and fall deeper into tyranny,

Unmanned Military Plane Now Patrolling Canada - U.S. Border

If hearing about the North American Security Perimeter lately, has not been enough for you. Now we get this news.

The Predator aircraft's have seen combat over Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq, and Yemen. Add Canada and the U.S. to that list now. All in the guise of combating the drug trade. Let me restate that. The unmanned military aircraft will now be patrolling the the Canadian - U.S. border, to fight the war against drugs! That is said to move in large amounts, frequently across the border. Just a little bit of overkill don't ya think?

In reality this seems to stem from what has been said about the North American Security Perimeter.

"The New Border Vision is being billed as a 21st century border management system that will include new common consumer product regulations, a pre-clearance agreement for goods crossing the border to expedite waiting times and the use of advanced technology to utilize biometric data for travelers at airports and land crossings, according to people familiar with the plan."

Utilization of new technologies, and new common consumer product regulations (cough cough* Bill C-36 the consumer product safety act).

Using the drone planes that are equipped with high tech camera's that can see threw walls of houses/buildings and vehicles, would definitely cut down border wait times. Because the border agents would know which cars to stop and which ones not too, before they even reach the border. But what does that say for our rights?

According to this article, "Officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection say the aircraft can transmit live, streaming video and radar images from above the huge swaths of rugged — and remote — terrain"

At first this is where they will be used. But as many of us already know, that is only the start. The push towards the North American Union is getting faster, with everyday that passes! We all have to unite and stand against this coming police state, and protect our sovereignty right now! Or all will be lost.

Cut Backs For The Canadian Border Services Agency

MONTREAL -- The union representing customs agents says the new decision by the Canada Border Services Agency to curtail its involvement in assisting other police forces across the country raises safety issues.

The CSBA announced the move on Dec. 24, citing a budget crunch and concerns over "gaps in officers' authorities and protections."

But a vice president for the Customs and Immigration Union said that means fewer raids, fewer seizures and less safety.

"There will be an immediate impact on security," Jean-Pierre Fortin said Sunday.

This seems to be totally against what Vic Toews the Canadian Minister of public safety has been pushing for the last year. And what about keeping us Canadians safe from all those scary terrorists? Why such a sudden change? Why now?

Well I do not think that this is unrelated to the "New North American Security Perimeter", that has been reported to be announced in the next month or so.

In the New North American Security Perimeter (precursor to the North American Union)it is said that The Americans do not trust the Canadians to protect the Northern area of North America. Also that they will utilize biometric data for travelers at airports and land crossings. These two possibilities will render the Canadian customs agents, well rather useless. The Americans do not trust them and want the department of homeland security to be keeping us Canadians safe.

But I know this is only a deal with the United States right? Nothing to do with a North American Union, because Mexico is not involved.

They tried to just push forward with all three parties openly (I use that term very loosely), and the people saw it for what it was while it was called the SSP.

Now a different tactic is being used. The Americans have already signed an almost identical agreement with Mexico.

"The U.S. announced a similar deal with Mexico in March. It included moves to expedite travel and commerce such as secure transit lanes for pre-cleared rail and truck shipments, as well as passenger pre-clearance for individuals." Source

These agreement are exactly what the SSP was. Just with different packaging. All three governments can say, We have not signed into the North American Union. We have only signed a deal with one of our neighboring countries, not both of them. Meanwhile they are or have already signed on to the exact same agreement with the other parties involved.

It is all a slight of the hand trick, and we need to see it for what it is! We are running out of time, very quickly!
