One thing I can say about Al Gore is that he sure does not know when to quit! After 31,000 scientist's including the founder of the weather network, all trying to sue him, and all signing a petition stating that man made global warming is a fraud. After the "climategate" email scandal, that proved that most of the computer models used by the IPCC had been "tricked" (in other words falsified). He is still holding tight!

After Bill O'Reilly made some kind of comments about the snow storms hitting New York, and the northeast recently. Al Gore posted this response on his blog.

Last week on his show Bill O’Reilly asked, “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” and then said he had a call into me. I appreciate the question.

As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming:

“In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”

“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

Listen to the logic here. Global temperature rising will cause more snow fall, and colder winters. Well Al, I hope that you realize that more and more people are starting to use their common sense! Absurd comments like this are loosing there grips on peoples minds, and they are starting to see you for what you are!

A greedy money and control hungry elitist! As you moan and cry about polar bears dieing off (when in reality their population is exploding), from your 50 room mansion, that sucks back the natural resources. All while you tell the general population that we need a carbon tax to save earth. That will be payed to a company that he runs.

Oh uh I guess you can call me a global warming denier now, or whatever they are calling people that use common sense these days.

One week ago I sent the mayor and all the city councilors an email in regards to the addition of hexafluorosilicic acid (fluoride) to the cities drinking water.

Here is the email that was sent:

Hello, my name is Terry Wilson.
I am a new resident of Hamilton, and my family has lived here for over ten years. I am writing you today because of something that I find quite disturbing.
The city of Hamilton is promoting that tap water is the clear choice, and that it is completely safe. But the city is still adding what is commonly known as fluoride
to the public water supply. What most people do not realize is that the "fluoride" that is being added to our water is really called hexafluorosilicic acid.
hexafluorosilicic acid is literally classified as a toxic waste, that is produced from the phosphate fertilizer industry. It is not a naturally occurring substance like your water reports state.

There is a very wide range of side effects that occurring from ingesting this substance. Just recently the 23rd scientific study linking fluoride exposure to lowered IQ in children. Among other professionals citing that there is now more evidence linking fluoride exposure to cancer, than there ever was with DDT. Water fluoridation is the only medical treatment in Canadian history, that has been implemented on a large scale, without the informed consent of the patients. To my
knowledge there has never been a public vote on the issue in Hamilton. In cities across Canada, who have never voted on it and now have. Barrie, Kitchener/Waterloo, and now Calgary (on the verge of a vote) have all now held votes, and the people voted it out.

The time for a vote on the issue of water fluoridation in Hamilton is long over due! I hope that you will support this, and the people of Hamilton will not have to enact the Ontario fluoridation act, to force a referendum.

No politician or bureaucrat in city hall or in Ottawa have the right to tell us what will or will not go into our bodies.

The first response that I received from city councilor Brad Clarke. Brad is himself against fluoride, and agreed to add a poll to his blog about the addition of it to our water supply. In the one day that his poll was posted, 85% percent of the voters checked off a box that said to completely remove all fluoride compounds from the water supply in Hamilton. If that was an election, it would have won in a "landslide" victory.

That one totally threw me off, but then I got the second response.

We had a long debate with public input two years ago and decided to stay with Fluoride. I know a number of medical doctors and dentist in Ancaster and all of them say Fluoride is the right thing to do.

This is very disturbing, but not new in the fight against fluoride. Although most of the population does not even know that it is being added to the water, or what it even is. And those who do know, (for the most part) all agree that we deserve a choice. Our elected officials do not seem to be interested in giving the people the
right to informed consent, or freedom of choice. They avoid the question like it is the plague, and when forced into the corner they will throw it of on to the head medical officer of health. Who of coarse fully supports it.

That is one doctor, out of the thousands in this country. Regardless if it is one doctor saying so, or every doctor in Canada saying the same thing. You still have the right to informed consent to any medical treatment!

The Canadian Awareness Network will not stop this battle until everyone in this great city gets that freedom to informed consent. These emails are only the start of what will probably be a long and hard fought battle!

While we all watch the civil unrest in Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, and Yemen unfold. The one thing that is connected in all of these countries is the fact that all of them faced food shortages, and sky rocketing food prices.

Yes it can! We are are already being warned that food prices will sharply rise this year, due to gas and energy prices rising. Which has already caused the inflation rate to hit 2.4% in December 2010.

Recently in Berlin Germany Agriculture ministers from Europe, Africa and Canada met and warned of the dangers of inflation and food shortages.

"Aziz Akhenouch ( Moroccan) denounced the "rocketing prices" which threaten purchasing power as well as political stability in his country, which is a major wheat importer and saw prices double last year."

In that week long meeting, the only options tabled as a solution, was more GM crops and more trade agreements. And we have all seen how well both of those work out!

Add the fact that Canadian production is now lagging behind the Americans (among many other countries), source and this looks like it could become a real problem very soon.

The Canadian government seems to be doing very little to prevent this from happening, and personally I will not wait for them to come up with a solution. Even if they do, it will not have our best interests in mind!

We need to band together in our communities, and create our own protection barrier against a food shortage. Building community Gardens, and networking are going to be vital! Our government and the international community can try to scare people into whatever regulations they want. But if we have networks of communities that can sustain themselves, none of it will work! And the people will get by just fine.

If hearing about the North American Security Perimeter lately, has not been enough for you. Now we get this news.

The Predator aircraft's have seen combat over Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq, and Yemen. Add Canada and the U.S. to that list now. All in the guise of combating the drug trade. Let me restate that. The unmanned military aircraft will now be patrolling the the Canadian - U.S. border, to fight the war against drugs! That is said to move in large amounts, frequently across the border. Just a little bit of overkill don't ya think?

In reality this seems to stem from what has been said about the North American Security Perimeter.

"The New Border Vision is being billed as a 21st century border management system that will include new common consumer product regulations, a pre-clearance agreement for goods crossing the border to expedite waiting times and the use of advanced technology to utilize biometric data for travelers at airports and land crossings, according to people familiar with the plan."

Utilization of new technologies, and new common consumer product regulations (cough cough* Bill C-36 the consumer product safety act).

Using the drone planes that are equipped with high tech camera's that can see threw walls of houses/buildings and vehicles, would definitely cut down border wait times. Because the border agents would know which cars to stop and which ones not too, before they even reach the border. But what does that say for our rights?

At first this is where they will be used. But as many of us already know, that is only the start. The push towards the North American Union is getting faster, with everyday that passes! We all have to unite and stand against this coming police state, and protect our sovereignty right now! Or all will be lost.

On the front page of the Hamilton Spectator January 18 2011. There is a picture of a needle and a bottle of medication, with the ever scary caption " Flu has hit really hard, really early".

I always give the link to any related articles that I am speaking about. But unfortunately this story is not posted on the Hamilton Spectator website.

The front page article says:
"Medical officials warn this years flu has the province in a nasty grip at a time when the number of Ontarians who received the seasonal vaccine is at an all time low.
"It's happening really hard, really early" said ministry of health spokesperson David Jensen, noting there are more than 1,800 lab confirmed cases across Ontario, about eight times higher than the average for this stage in the season. "That's why we're trying to get the word out for people to get their shots."

It goes on to say that there is four hundred confirmed cases and three deaths linked to influenza so far in Hamilton. But there are hundreds more that likely have not been lab tested. Are you scared yet? Ready to take your family to the flu clinic yet?

This article is nothing more than a pure scare tactic! Big Pharma is not happy that most Canadians have become aware of the high risks behind the flu shot and they are not making as much money. There is not one word about boosting your immune system with the food you eat, Vitamin D or C, or any other method of flu prevention, other than the shots!

Or how the influenza and most other vaccines are ineffective and dangerous. To left is a chart showing a sharp decrease in mortality rates from influenza in America, long before the vaccination programs were rolled out.

The best way to protect yourself against influenza, is by living a proper lifestyle! Eating raw organic foods, making sure you get a good intake of vitamins (vitamin D and C especially), and being active. Not blindly listening to propaganda and injecting synthetics into your body.

Vaccines have been a big money maker for big pharma companies, for a very long time now, and they refuse to accept the fact that people in large numbers have caught on to their scam. In the coming months expect the propaganda machine to be in high gear, when it comes to vaccinations!

There is so many examples of big pharma showing how much they love people, it is hard to know where to start! Between unsafe drugs, unsafe vaccines, lobbying to have harsh laws/regulations on their competition (the ever dangerous Natural Health Foods), and on and on. If you were to sit down and write a list of all the ways that big pharma companies love and care about us all, you would end up with a large stack of paper by the time you were done!

There is one example of their love that not too many people talk about, or know about. In Canada there has been people who become addicted to illegal drugs, for a very long time now. A large number of those people eventually at least try to become clean (at least once). To do so, they turn to the methadone clinics. Pharmacuetical companies produce the methadone, to help people who are suffering threw addiction.

In the brains of addicted people, methadone prevents heroin or morphine from interacting with receptors for natural painkillers called endorphins , blocking the effects of the addictive drugs and reducing the physical cravings.

The methadone usually costs about five to ten dollars a day in Canada. My research conduted in Brantford Ontario, shows that about 3,000 people visit the methadone clinic a day.
When you do the math, the pharmaceutical companies are making anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000 a day from just this one small clinic. WOW showing love, can be very profitable don't you think?

Over half of the 3,000 visitors a day to the small clinic in Brantford, are there because big pharma and their doctors loved them so much, that when these everyday people. Who most of, had no history of drug abuse, got injured. They where given drugs like Oxycontin (a narcotic pain reliever). Even after they're injury had healed and a doctor will no longer prescribe these medications to you. Do not worry! They can be purchased online without a prescription. But if you decide that you no longer wish to take the pain reliever, big pharma is right there with another drug for you! Now if that is not love, I don't know what is!

With all of this love and profits that are being made from both drugs, I do not know how things could get any better! Pharmaceutical companies profiting as they help you with your pain, and then when they help you get off of those painkillers. You get to suffer oops, I mean enjoy this whole process that could take years instead of weeks/months.

These are great times we live in aren't they?

In Canada we are witnessing the total raping of our health freedoms. We now have the consumer product safety act (Bill C-36) as a law. Which does not effect Natural Health Products itself, but it opens the door to allow the Canadian government to adopt foreign laws and foreign trading block's regulations on basically all products (including NHP's), without parliamentary scrutiny.

Health Canada is using unrealistic licensing standards on NHP's. For example, parsley in capsule form was not given it’s NPN because the manufacturer could not provide safety studies. Parsley is a herb that has been used for thousands of years. Think about it! When was the last time your heard of someone dieing from parsley (fresh or in a capsule)? Over 20,000 NHP's since 2004 have been not been licensed, because of absurdity like this!

But at the same time Health Canada is loosening the regulations on pharmaceuticals.

"What kind of "modernizations" should we expect to emerge from Health Canada's artfully stage-managed "technical consultations"? First and perhaps most important could be a shift of the burden of proof. The "precautionary principle" would be scrapped if drug companies had their way. So, instead of the drug industry having to prove that its products are (comparatively) safe before they can be licensed, new products would be presumed to be safe unless critics can prove that they are more harmful than beneficial."

That's right you do not get to choose what you put into your body Canadians! NHP manufactures must prove that herbs that have been in use for hundreds if not thousands of years are safe. But big pharma companies do not have to prove the safety of their synthetic products. Oh no a critic must prove that they are not safe, AFTER they have been given out to who knows how many Canadian people.

This is only the tip of a very large iceberg in Canada. But it is not only happening here.

In America Bill S510 (HR 2751) has passed. All of the provisions, restrictions and requirements of this law, would apply to small farmers and small food producers (think farmer’s market, fruit, veggies, jam, pie, nuts, eggs, and yes herbs). Simply cutting off the herb production of the country.

Many of you have probably heard about the European Union Banning many Chinese and Indian Herbs. The AHN has been standing up against this mandate. Here is what they have to say about it:

"The date—ironically April Fool’s Day 2011—represents one day after the end of the transition phase of the EU Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive (THMPD). The THMPD exists as a sub-Directive of the Human Medicinal Products Directive, and was originally intended to be a fast-track licensing system for a wide variety of traditional herbal products, including those of non-European origin. These include the super-traditions of Ayurveda, associated with the Indian subcontinent and that of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Both are of more than 4,000 years standing. The directive was originally implemented in 2004, but the lengthy 7-year transition period has lulled many into thinking that the April 2011 date marks the implementation of a new directive. This is not the case."

"What are the facts about THMPD?

* 31st March 2011 marks the end of the 7-year transition phase of the THMPD
* The directive requires that the same type of pharmaceutical standards applied to conventional, synthetic drugs are applied to complex, polyherbal products
* A range of eligibility and technical problems, along with prohibitive costs, have, so far, prevented any products from either the Chinese or Indian traditions from successfully being registered under the scheme"

This shows that in Canada, America, and in the European Union the attack on NHP's is kicking into gear. Not by flat out banning them. Because it is well known that, an action like that would not be tolerated by the people. So the tactic seems to be the slow and methodical elimination of these products, through licensing regulations.

Testing and proving the safety of NHP's apparently can cost upwards of US $100,000.
For small to medium sized manufacturers this is devastating! But to the large companies it is tolerable. Unfortunately the large companies seem to be the ones complying with big pharma. By using genetically modified ingredients, and other synthetics produced in the pharmaceutical industry.

The small guys in our communities are being "licensed" out of business, because they refuse to comply. They refuse to keel over in the presence of big pharma.

They have looked out for us, and our health for a long time now. It is time that we return the favor! We now need to not comply right along with them! DO NOT buy from the major NHP companies. Instead look for the smaller, and more local products.

It is estimated that over 10,000 Canadians die every year from pharmaceuticals. Do you think the number of deaths caused by NHP's comes anywhere even close to that?

All of which sounds great! Until you do a little digging. The Canadian government has been vigorously attacking the NHP market place. Between proposing (and passing) draconian laws and licensing procedures. Right down to Health Canada and the RCMP conducting armed raids on the homes of naturopathic doctors. Like in the case of Dr. Eldon Dahl, whose home was raided over things like folic acid, in 2009. So one would assume that a group like the CHFA would not be in Health Canada's good books.

But that is not the case. The Canadian government is funding the CHFA and the Nutri-Net Canada program. In 2007 a press release was released from the government titled: CANADA’S NEW GOVERNMENT INVESTS $721,000 IN NATURAL HEALTH PRODUCTS

And from estimates this funding has now reached over 2 million dollars.

The CHFA and the Nutri-Net program are being used to to encourage and facilitate regulatory compliance of Bill C-51 (which eventually became Bill C-36 and became the law known as the consumer product safety act).

They are also trying to "slow Bleed" the NHP industry with the new licensing programs that Health Canada aims to implement in 2011. The original start date was set to be March 1 2011. A number of PAC members felt that the end of the Compliance and Enforcement promotion period should be June 1, 2011, for manufacturers, importers, packagers and labellers (vs. the previous March 1, 2011 date)and December 1, 2011 for retailers and distributors (vs. the previous September 1, 2011 date).

The CHFA does not support these dates. The CHFA suggestes that August 1, 2011 for manufacturers, importers, packagers and labellers and February 1, 2012 for retailers and distributors would be more appropriate. Rather than opposing these actions from the Canadian government, they only want to spread it out. But why?

Would that extended time frame give the CHFA and the large players in the NHP industry the appropriate amount of time to wipe out the small and medium players who cannot afford the onerous cost of compliance ? Perhaps the smaller companies will not compromise their ethics and/ or add synthetic and GMO inferior fillers to standardize their products to get their NPNs?. If Natural health products really are so dangerous and need such stringent specifications, and outrageous standards of evidence, can someone please show me the dead bodies?

This is not surprising after you look at the other companies involved with the Nutri-Net program. A large percentage of the directors and board members of the organizations come from either Bio-Tech companies, or Pharmaceutical Companies.

That's right! Funded by the government and in a large part being run by Bio-tech and pharmaceutical companies.
