In B.C. Expect The Government To Be Knocking At Your Door If You Grow Your Own Vegetables!

Len Gratto and Stacy Gowanlock of Mission, British Columbia have both been slapped with $5,200 inspection fees after having having their homes inspected by government officials.

This is not only happening in Mission B.C., This inspection process is also happening in Surrey , Richmond, Coquitlam, Langley, Langley City, Abbotsford, Pitt Meadows, Chilliwack and Port Coquitlam. Between 2005 and 2009 these cities conducted 3,528 inspections.

Under the safety inspection programs, inspectors armed with B.C. Hydro statistics on abnormal energy consumption can enter private homes without warrant. Sounds kinda familiar doesn't it? (Bill C-36).

"The safety inspections came about as a result of concerns over grow-ops that pose electrical hazards from faulty wiring and the overloading of residential electrical circuits." Globe and Mail

Once again a bypass around section 8 of the Canadian Charter Of Rights And Freedoms (Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure.).

Oh but don't worry, it is all just to keep you safe! A fire could happen if there is faulty wiring. That is all the government is concerned about.

In the case of Len Gratto, the officials hit the jackpot! He was guilty of growing cucumbers in his basement. And with Stacy Gowanlock, they just missed it! Only finding some dirt residue and some piping leading to the chimney. What criminals these Canadians are! How dare they grow their own food! The audacity of some people eh.

The fight against marijuana has hit an all new low with this. Government officials being given the power to enter and inspect the homes of Canadians without a warrant, with police waiting at the front door. All because it may not be cucumbers, it could be the evil marijuana.

And then even if the officials do not find anything illegal, they slap you with a huge fee for making them search your home.

After the G20, and Bill C-36 trampling all over our rights as Canadians, this is just another way our government wanted to show that they love us, and only want to keep us safe! Forget about your rights and freedoms Canadians, just trust the government!

They will keep you safe, and keep all of those bad people who like to grow their own food in check! We need our police state!

Video From The January 8 2011 Mass g20 Demonstration

We Canadians will never forget the weekend of June 26th and 27th 2010. It is "A weekend that will be remembered as a weekend of infamy" For Canada. We all need to stand in solidarity and fight against the tyranny's that this government seems to be content with, pushing on to the people of this great land.

We stand with our brothers and sisters in Toronto!

Video info:
WE "THE PEOPLE" DEMAND JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY-WE DEMAND A PUBLIC INQUIRY
The police and governments of Toronto, Ontario and Canada, have now proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they THINK they can literally round up hundreds of citizens, gathered together to exercise their Charter rights to protest, for no legal or discernible reason-AND THAT WE THE PEOPLE OF TORONTO, ONTARIANS AND CANADIANS WILL SIMPLY STAND IDLY BY. The suspension of civil liberties-the snatching and grabbing of citizens off the streets, and throwing them in a cage, in many instances without access to legal counsel and in a few cases after being threatened or physically harmed by the police services. The arrested citizen then has to bear the cost of trying to defend themselves. If the police acted illegally where is the accountability? The citizens of this city again have to bear the cost of trying to prove that, and the public pays the damages-not one single person in government or the police agencies has been held accountable. So in fact, the police are totally and utterly unaccountable. The bureaucrats who made the decision to round up peaceful protesters, or just people walking down the street, are unaccountable. The politicians are also unaccountable, as apparently they have veto power over investigating themselves and apparently don't even have the guts to conduct any kind of investigation, instead some semblance of an investigation has to be conducted by the Ombudsman. Who the hell is accountable? So WE THE PEOPLE if the police can illegally detain Canadians without any kind of accountability or oversight, how is this in any functional way for the citizen, any different from a police state? Arbitrary arrests and detentions on the basis of secret laws that nobody knew about, with no accountability. That is the very definition of a POLICE STATE. WE THE PEOPLE are still absolutely appalled by what we saw on that weekend and shaken to the core by the hundreds of examples of police brutality that we witnessed and experienced and utterly disgusted by the silence and sheep like acquiescence from the people who are supposed to be representing all of us in Toronto and Ottawa.

Toronto Police officer charged for G20 assault

A Toronto police officer is now charged with assaulting G20 protester Adam Nobody.

The provincial police watchdog Special Investigations Unit said Tuesday that Const. Babak Andalib-Goortani was charged with assault with a weapon.

The charge follows the SIU saying Nov. 25 that excessive force was used on Nobody on June 26 at Queen's Park but were unable to identify anyone in the video evidence, which was shown on YouTube.

The case regained momentum after Chief Bill Blair said on CBC Radio One on Nov. 29 that the video had been tampered with, and suggested Nobody was violent.

This story does bring some good news. A police officer who did wrong, is going to have to face that now. But just like every other main stream news story about the Toronto G20, It fails to show the complete lawlessness from our government and those in charge.

Chief Bill Blair openly had the Toronto police, enforce a non existent law. The infamous 5 meter rule, was conducted all across the GTA, not only within 5 meters of the security fence. And did not stop even weeks after the G20 summit had ended. I personally witnessed this and many caught it on camera. So many laws and rights were broken that weekend that charging one police officer, does not even come close to making it right. Especially when Bill Blair has the audacity to stand up and say that the video of the indecent was tampered with.

Prime minister Stephen Harper, Premier Dalton Mcguinty, Chief Bill Blair and the management team of the RCMP, and CSIS had the full ability to hold this summit in a remote area of the country, but instead held it in the most populated city in the nation. The only reason I can think of for this, is that our government wanted to show the people what a true police state looked like and that it could happen here. And if you had the ability to stand up and speak out against whatever cause it was, you would be treated like a criminal, even though you would not end up even being charged with anything.

The management of this orchestrated police state weekend should be the people facing trials, every police officer who illegally detained Canadians, enforced a non existing law, who hid their names, and who assaulted people should be tried for treason! Not only one low ranking officer who got caught in the act.

But I guess that is there style right? The the truly responsible go, and give up one or even few low level people.

Caught in the Act: Ontario Ombudsman admits to the G20 police state

Ontario Ombudsman finds G20 regulation of "dubious legality"; Citizens unfairly trapped by secret expansion of police powers. TORONTO (December 7, 2010) The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services quietly promoted the use of a likely illegal regulation to grant police "extravagant" powers on the eve of the G20 summit, Ontario Ombudsman André Marin says in his latest report.

The Ontario Ombudsman basically admits that Toronto police as well as the province of Ontario and the RCMP totally violated the Canadian charter of rights, in bringing in the total police state that Toronto was subjected to. Sadest part about it is that the police state did not end when the G20 summit did. Here is one example of that.
